Project Overview
On March 23, 2015, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Zimbabwe released the Goods Certification and Assessment Scheme (CBCA) on its official website. According to the CBCA scheme, from May 16, 2015, all goods exported to Zimbabwe must undergo product certification before leaving the country. After passing the certification, the CBCA certificate will be obtained, and the CBCA certificate must be presented when the goods arrive in Zimbabwe for customs clearance. If the CBCA certificate is not obtained, the Zimbabwean customs will refuse entry.
The control list covers general goods (including new motor vehicles and new spare parts), LCL goods and second-hand motor vehicles and second-hand spare parts. For specific product types, please refer to the list below, or ask our Lixin testing experts with the corresponding customs code of the product to confirm whether the product to be shipped is controlled.

Certification Process
Step 1: Materials required: invoice, product specification, product photos, customs code for quotation
Step 2: Submit: packing list, invoice, nameplate design drawing, product photo (with clean background and no debris), factory ISO English version, factory information sheet, application form and other materials for review (within 2 weeks)
Step 3: Arrange inspection (one working day)
Step 3: Provide final data after inspection and arrange a draft (within one week)
Step 4: After the customer confirms the draft, the original copy will be issued (2-3 working days)
