WRAP to phase out Silver Certificates Silver certificates will no longer be issued to facilities that are deemed to be substantially compliant but with minor non-compliance If a facility is found not to be in full compliance with WRAP principles, it must correct the non-compliances noted in order to receive a Gold Certificate. Certificate Change WRAP is changing the certificate template A QR code will be added to the lower right corner of each certificate Scanning the QR code will confirm the legitimacy of the certificate Certificates will add other style changes Certification Procedure WRAP Certification Emails and Memos Once a facility is certified, an email will be sent to the facility's primary contact, with a copy to the agency's primary contact. The certification notice will contain a PDF copy of the certificate and a PDF copy of the memorandum. Factories can also log in to the WRAP platform and view the "Application Documents" section Mailing Policy Changes WRAP will no longer mail paper certificates by the end of Q1 2024 Reason for change This change was made because it was inefficient to mail paper certificates to facility addresses around the world Print Options Institutions that require paper certificates can choose to print them themselves For more certificate updates, please refer to WRAP official information.
