WRAP certification is divided into platinum and gold certificates.

Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is a non-profit organization that promotes legal, humane and ethical manufacturing internationally. It is one of the world's most recognized independent certifications for apparel, textiles, footwear and sewn products. WRAP is the "most frequently cited standard" in social responsibility audits in the textile industry. WRAP certification is divided into two levels: Platinum and Gold.

WRAP decides which level of certification to issue to each factory. The decision is based on the audit report's findings about the breadth and robustness of the factory's social responsibility program, as well as factory management's stated commitment to WRAP's 12 principles.

Please note that all WRAP certified facilities are subject to random, unannounced, surprise assessments (PCAs) during the validity period of their certification.

Platinum Certificate (valid for 2 years)

  • Companies that are awarded a platinum certificate must be able to fully comply with WRAP's 12 principles in certification audits for at least three consecutive years. The certificate is valid for two years.

  • All companies awarded a Platinum certificate must have successfully passed every audit, taken no corrective actions, and continued to participate in the certification without any interruptions.

Gold Certificate (valid for 1 year)

  • Gold certificates are the standard level of WRAP certification and are awarded to companies that fully comply with WRAP's 12 principles. They are valid for one year and provide buyers around the world with assurance that all applicable laws and standards are being followed.
