Pre-shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoc)

From January 18, 2012, the Kenya Bureau of Standards will implement pre-shipment certification of conformity (PVoc) for goods exported to Kenya. This conformity certification project is applied to specific products in specific regions.

Speed up customs clearance at Kenya Customs by issuing the corresponding Certificate of Conformity (COC)

Kenya Process

1. Provide IDF, invoice, packing list, test report and other information

2. Submit application, pass the review, and arrange inspection (loading supervision)

3. After the inspection (loading supervision) is qualified, the agency will issue a draft

4. Confirm the draft and issue the original copy
