Hello, welcome to the official website of Jiangsu Youchuang Testing and Certification Technology Co., Ltd.!
The new Sedex platform has recently updated several features related to SMETA audit reports, which not only affect audit companies and auditors, but also have important impacts on all supplier members on the platform.
Automatic publication of SMETA audit reports
Starting from June 28, all audit reports submitted by audit companies on the new Sedex platform will be automatically released to purchasing members after 14 days if the supplier member does not manually publish the report;
SMETA audit reports submitted to the new platform before June 28 and older than 14 days will be automatically released to buyer members on June 28.
Cycle audit function Regardless of whether the supplier publishes a SMETA audit on the Sedex Advance platform or the new platform, the same AAC can initiate a cycle audit on the new platform: all unclosed non-conformities and observation items will be carried forward to the supplier's data in the social and environmental fields in the cycle audit initiated on the new platform, which is crucial to improving supply chain transparency. The quality of SMETA audit reports has always been one of the focuses of Sedex's work. The above changes will undoubtedly improve the authenticity of SMETA audit reports to a certain extent. At the same time, it also puts forward higher requirements for suppliers. Before the formal SMETA audit, carefully filling out the Sedex Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) can help suppliers prepare for the audit, understand their own deficiencies, and promptly discover and take corrective measures.
